About Chef Brian

Brian Potts-Cattrall has been cooking in Yamhill County for over twenty years. He has worked in many different settings including high-end wine country cuisine, wood fired fare, and more recently has worked as a personal chef to families and athletes in Portland. Brian is passionate about farm to table cooking and lives on a small farm outside of Amity with his wife (Laura), children (Maggie and Cameron), sister (Julia), and a host of pets and farm animals.

Brian dreamed up Philanthropy Foods because it combines his love of fine cooking with the real solutions to the needs in our community: supporting young professionals in the struggling restaurant industry, providing educational opportunities, and closing the hunger gap in our community.
